Mission Statement

Ako Apparel was created in November of 2008 by Alix Ako & Chris Haider. "A'ko" translates to "me" or "I" in Tagalog. When you wear the Ako brand you are basically saying this brand I'm wearing is about "ME". Though it's begining roots is Pinoy, the ultimate goal as the company grows is to be a universal brand.

Filipino Shows this weekend in Northen Calfornia.

Ako Apparel/Island Blue Apparel will be @The Vallejo Pista Sa Nayon Filipino Festival Saturday June 4th. Come visit us if your in the area!

We will also be @The Sacramento Filipino Festival the following Sunday June 5th! See you there!
